Terms of use

These terms are between you and [company name] Pty Ltd (ABN [to follow]), trading as Pexii. By joining the waitlist or using Pexii, you agree to them. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Who can use Pexii

You must be 18 or over, and you must pass our verification before using the app. One person, one account. Couples use two linked accounts, one each; either person can unlink at any time.

2. Your account

Keep your login to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us straight away at support@pexii.com if you think someone else has accessed it.

3. The rules

You agree to follow our community rules. In short: consent always, be who you say you are, protect others’ privacy, nothing sexual for sale, only share what you’re allowed to, respect everyone, adults only.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a limited licence to host and show it on Pexii, only in the ways the app needs to (for example, showing your profile to members your settings allow). The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where others have a copy (such as a message you sent them) or the law requires us to keep it.

Creators’ agreements, releases and likeness licences made through Pexii are between the creators who sign them. Pexii provides the tools and keeps the records.

5. Paid features

Some features will cost money. We’ll always show the price, including GST, before you pay. Payments are processed by our payment provider. Where Pexii facilitates a sale between members, such as in Market, we take a fee that’s shown before the sale.

6. Events and meeting people

Events are run by their organisers, not by Pexii. Organisers set their own entry rules and ticketing. Meeting people carries risk: use the safety tools, meet in public first, and trust your instincts. We verify that members are real adults, but we can’t vouch for anyone’s behaviour.

7. Suspension and closure

We can limit, suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the community rules, or that put others at risk. You can close your account at any time.

8. Liability

We provide Pexii with due care and skill, as the Australian Consumer Law requires. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for the conduct of other members or organisers, or for indirect loss.

9. Changes

We’ll tell you before any change to these terms that affects you, and give you the chance to close your account if you don’t agree.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of [state or territory], Australia.
